Unki Mines Bulk Water Augmentation Study

Zimbabwe based co-consultant for the high level study to identify options for augmenting the bulk water supply for Unki Platinum Mine near Shurugwi in Zimbabwe. Activities Included Collection and reviewing of existing pertinent information, including the legislative framework and the various acts governing the use of water in Zimbabwe. Desktop identification of possible dams sites in and around the mine area, including an assessment of the feasibility of raising the existing Lucilia Poort Dam. Site visits to confirm condition of identified sites. Cost estimates for the most feasible options and compilation of a report with recommendations for further actions.
