For over 50years BCHOD has been involved in the construction of major high rise commercial buildings in Zimbabwe. Recently the company has been involved in 20 commercial buildings with a combined value of over US$500m at original construction prices.
The projects include among others the first phase of the Harare International Airport US$240m, the new office block for OK Bazaar US$70m, SAZ headquarters US$61mil, 24storey Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe US$14,6mil, 12storey Angwa City building and the prestigious US$35m Old Mutual Borrowdale Office Block which was completed in 2014. For these projects BCHOD was involved in all disciplines of Civil, Structural, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. We played a significant role in the development of the project design, inspection of construction and supervision together with control of commissioning.
To illustrate the depth of our experience in the Building Sector, we list those current and recent projects wherein we have played significant roles. Many schemes have also involved BCHOD as Project Managers.
